What We Source
Every commodity we source is verified against international humanitarian procurement standards. Below is an overview of our current and planned commodity categories, with full specifications available through the partner portal at launch.
Kentucky's river valleys and upland plains produce some of the nation's most consistent corn, wheat, and soybean yields. We source directly from producer cooperatives and grain elevators, certifying bulk commodities to WFP, USAID, and bilateral aid program specifications. All grain shipments include full traceability documentation from field to vessel.
Kentucky's bluegrass pastures and hay operations supply premium forage and formulated feed products suited for humanitarian livestock programs, refugee settlement agriculture initiatives, and food-security projects that include animal husbandry components. We work with certified hay producers and feed formulators across the Commonwealth.
As Kentucky's agricultural economy diversifies beyond traditional commodity crops, new high-value categories are emerging with significant humanitarian potential. Industrial hemp-derived products, high-protein legumes, and shelf-stable specialty produce represent the next generation of Kentucky's export capacity — and we are building the certification infrastructure to deploy them globally.
Beyond raw agricultural commodities, we source shelf-stable processed products from Kentucky's food manufacturing sector — including milled flour, cornmeal, soy protein products, and fortified food preparations. These value-added commodities are particularly suited for direct food aid distribution programs requiring ready-to-use or minimally processed products.
Detailed commodity specifications, pricing frameworks, minimum order quantities, logistics options, and certification documentation will be available through the partner portal when it opens in Summer 2026. Register your organization now to receive priority access.
