The Bluegrass Global Relief Initiative connects the agricultural heritage of Kentucky with the world's most critical humanitarian needs — sourcing, certifying, and deploying premium commodities where they matter most.
Our Mission
Founded in 2026, the Bluegrass Global Relief Initiative is in its earliest days — focused on building genuine relationships with Kentucky's farmers, ranchers, and agricultural producers. Our goal is simple: give more back to local producers while creating a certified supply chain that can serve global humanitarian needs.
We are not yet shipping commodities. We are doing the foundational work — meeting producers, understanding their operations, and building the network that will power the partner portal launching Summer 2026.

Grains & Cereals
Corn, wheat, soybeans, and processed grain products

What We Source
Kentucky's fertile river valleys and rolling uplands produce some of the nation's finest corn, wheat, and soybean harvests. We work directly with producer cooperatives to source, grade, and certify bulk grain commodities meeting international humanitarian standards — from WFP specifications to bilateral aid program requirements.
Corn · Wheat · Soybeans · Sorghum
As Kentucky's agricultural economy diversifies, new commodity categories are emerging with significant humanitarian potential. From industrial hemp and its derivatives to high-protein legumes and shelf-stable specialty produce, we identify and certify emerging supply chains for international deployment.
Hemp · Legumes · Tobacco Alternatives · Produce
Coming Summer 2026
Our comprehensive procurement and logistics platform will connect international relief organizations, government agencies, and NGOs directly with Kentucky agricultural suppliers — with real-time inventory, certified documentation, and end-to-end logistics coordination.
